Seaside Boulevard
Feliks Nowowiejski Seaside Boulevard is a 1,5 km long promenade along the seashore. It begins at the statue of the Gdynia fish – a sculpture by Adam Smolana, which are the symbol of the City of Gdynia. Near the boulevard there is also a monument "To those who passed away to keep eternal watch", commemorating the victims of maritime disasters. The promenade, running between the slope of Kamienna Góra and the sea – in the shape that we use it today – was created at the end of the 1950s. Earlier, in the 1920s and 1930s, one could first walk only along a sandy path, and later along a concrete band reinforcing the cliff. In addition to the walking route, there is an "open air" gym, a playground for children and a comfortable bicycle lane. Unforgettable views of the Gdańsk Bay will make your stay in restaurants and bars more enjoyable. source: www.gdynia.pl
