The funicular takes everyone to the upper terrace of Kamienna Góra, to a park with quiet alleys, summer amphitheatre and a viewpoint, where you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the sea and the city. The ride in the glass gondola takes about 2 minutes, during which it covers the distance of 96 m and climbs to the height of 40 meters from the foot of the hill. The carriage takes 7 passengers or 5 people and 1 wheelchair at a time. The funicular does not have any intermediary stations and only stops at the top, on the viewing platform. The carriage is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. What is more, the funicular is fully monitored. The funicular is open all year every day from 10 am to 8 pm, and from 1st June to 30th September on weekends until 10 pm. It is free of charge. source: www.gdynia.pl
